Molly Bawn Boat Tours: The 5-Minute Walk to Whales

Molly Bawn Boat Tours
Small group tours. Marine biologists on board. And the best part? It's a 5-minute walk from your door.
If you are staying at Whale House Guest House, you are in a rare position. While most tourists drive 40 minutes to find a boat, you can finish your coffee, lace up your shoes, and walk down the lane to one of the most authentic experiences in Newfoundland.

Why Choose Small?
Molly Bawn isn't a "cattle boat." They specialize in small-group experiences right in the heart of the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve.
This marine sanctuary is home to 260,000 pairs of Atlantic Puffins and is a feeding ground for Humpbacks, Minkes, and yes, even Orcas. In fact, Mobile Bay has hosted some of the most dramatic Orca vs. Humpback events recorded on the coast. Just ask the Captain; their stories will make your jaw drop.

The Puffin Patrol
Molly Bawn goes beyond sightseeing. They are key members of the Puffin Patrol, a volunteer group that rescues puffin chicks confused by city lights.
In late summer, you might get the chance to help release a rescued puffin chick back into the ocean. It is a hands-on conservation moment that guests talk about for years.
